Fast, accurate exchange rates for 170+ currency pairs. Get live conversion rates, historical data, and real-time charts - completely free.
Each pair page shows a daily reference rate for one currency in terms of another, a 7-day and 30-day table, and a 12-month chart. The reference rate is sourced from a public currency-rate feed and is close to the mid-market level. Banks, brokers, ATMs, and money-transfer services apply their own spreads and fees, so the rate you can actually transact at will normally be less favourable than the figure shown here.
If you are new to foreign exchange, the guides section explains how rates are quoted, what moves them, and how to read the difference between a reference rate and a real-world consumer rate.
If you want context for the numbers on a pair page, the guide on how exchange rates are quoted covers base and quote currencies, bid and ask, and inverse rates. The mid-market vs bank rates guide walks through why the rate your bank offers differs from the reference rate on this site. The ISO 4217 currency codes guide explains the three-letter codes you see in every quote. And to know whether a pair will show a tight or wide spread on real transactions, see major, minor, and exotic currency pairs.
